Sometimes, there is a clear trigger for depression such as the loss of a loved one or a stressful life change. Other times, feelings of sadness and depression can become overwhelming even when life seems to be going well on the surface. No matter the cause, depression can be extremely isolating. It's important to know you do not have to be alone with these feelings. In therapy, you can talk through your distressing thoughts and feelings without judgment. Together, we can look at ways of managing these feelings.
