LGBTQ+ support

-
Have you experienced discrimination or been the victim of a hate crime related to your sexual orientation or gender identity?
-
Are you contemplating, or in the process of, gender transition or gender affirmation surgery and need support?
-
Would you like help negotiating coming out or managing relationships with family and friends?
-
Do you feel invisible or marginalized within the LGBTQ+ community because of your race, age, or less commonly acknowledged identification (gender fluid, asexual, intersex, agender, pansexual, etc.)?

As a queer clinician, I am particularly attuned to the needs of our community. Therapy can be a safe place to explore your sexuality or gender identity and and receive positive affirmation related to your LGBTQ+ identity. We can also talk through the challenges of coming out, negotiating relationships, and the societal stigma and prejudice that continue to impact the lives of LGBTQ+ people daily. In my practice, you will be supported as a whole person.
